Marlborough Dental Centre is currently seeking a motivated and friendly Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a permanent full-time position at our well-established family dental practice in Northeast Calgary.

Our practice offers a full range of dental services and treatment plans for our patients, and the successful candidate will play an important role in building strong patient relationships while maintaining professional behaviour chairside.

We are looking for someone who communicates confidently with patients and works well as part of a dental team. Experience with Dentrix, CEREC, iTero and CBCT imaging is an asset, however training will be provided to the right candidate, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Registered Dental Assistant Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this RDA position may include:

• Providing chairside assisting during a full range of dental procedures
• Building and maintaining strong patient relationships
• Maintaining professional behaviour with patients and team members
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments
• Supporting infection control and sterilization procedures
• Assisting with treatment plans alongside the dentist
• Using Dentrix for dental practice administration
• Supporting imaging procedures, including CEREC, iTero and CBCT where applicable
• Communicating with dentists, hygienists, receptionists and other team members
• Helping maintain an organized and welcoming clinical environment
• Providing additional clinical support as required

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
• Experience with Dentrix, CEREC, iTero and CBCT imaging is an asset
• Training will be provided to the right candidate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong patient relationships
• Professional behaviour in a clinical setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a busy family dental practice

Work Schedule

This is a permanent full-time position with a consistent weekday schedule and a rotating schedule of two Saturdays and two Sundays per month.

Compensation

Compensation for this position is dependent on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
